ABA Treatment and Services

Data-driven, goal-oriented success
On a daily basis your child's ABA treatment will consist of:
- Working one-on-one with your child on their individualized goals using play and other developmentally appropriate activities to help embed skills naturally.
·
- Implementing their individualized programs based on ABA principles to increase communication, self-help, social and play skills.
·
- Using positive reinforcement (encouragement) and antecedent modification to increase appropriate, desired behaviors over time.
·
- Managing undesirable behaviors by implementing their Behavior Intervention Plan (BIPs) in consultation with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
·
- Working with and facilitating interactions between peers, schools, related professionals, and families.
·
- Constantly keeping your child motivated to learn and grow.
·
- Accurately recording information on your child’s progress throughout the treatment with appropriate modifications.
·
Parent Training
Teamwork with family
At Brain and Behavior Connections we see ourselves and your family as a team. Parent and family training is essential for ensuring continuity of treatment for behavioral and developmental issues. We are not just concerned with remediating behaviors in one child; rather, we aim to develop whole-family engagement in interventions. Our goal is not just short-term change; we work to equip families for continued progress by:
- providing them with regular debriefings after sessions on current plans, progress, and intervention updates.
- providing specific parent training with behavior team and BCBA to ensure continuity of treatment.
